Experience
An experienced tutor with 18 years experience in teaching across a wide range of settings. After training in Bedfordshire as a History teacher under the three tier system, teaching from Year 5 - Year 13, I worked in schools both across Bedfordshire and Devon. As well as in mainstream schools, I worked in special schools with a focus on ASD, ADD and Trauma. For 13 years I have also been a tutor for OHS, tutoring history students (both school age and adults) to A Level. I work with private students both online and in person. Though qualified in History, I also have experience teaching RS to GCSE level and German conversation. My German background also makes me sensitive to EAL students and I have supported many students internationally. My long standing work as an experienced examiner and teamleader working predominantly for Edexel offers me unique insights into the marking to be shared with students.Availability (UK time)
