Experience
Having started my post university career in financial services, I later decided to embark upon a teaching career. I trained as a secondary school teacher in 2011-2012 but secured my first teaching post within FE. I worked as an A Level Lecturer of Business at a college in South Wales for 13 years. During this time I primarily taught Business Studies but I also taught on the A Level Economics course. In January 2025 I returned to teaching Business in a secondary school where I continue to teach. I have been tutoring both Business and Economics for OOL since September 2020. I am also an experienced examiner and have marked A Level Business Studies exam papers for two major exam board for over 10 years.More
Collectively my classroom, tutoring and examining experience ensures that I have a breadth of expertise which can benefit my tutees. I am passionate about my subjects and I hope that the enthusiasm I have comes across to students and helps to bring subjects to life. I have a proven track record of helping students to develop their analysis and evaluation skills thus enabling them to access the higher marks in Business and Economics exams.Availability (UK time)
