Experience
For 17 years I have taught Classics, MFL and English (as a first and additional language) at both primary and secondary level.I have written textbooks and other materials used in school for Latin, Classics and Modern Languages.
I am currently undertaking my doctorate at the University of Reading where I am concentrating on the experiences of successful language learners and how we can apply those to an educational context.

My research interests include classics in popular culture and I have published on Latin in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the parallels between the Buffy character Rupert Giles and the characters of Mentor and Athena in The Odyssey.Availability (UK time)
