I have taught a number of subjects in schools in addition to Maths including Economics, Business studies and ICT. I have taught at all levels in secondary schools in the UK over the years ranging from Year 7 through to A-level. More recently I taught for 5 years in the Special Educational Needs sector supporting young people with Education Health Care Plans (EHCP) teaching students with Autism, ADHD, Anxiety and other complex needs. I speak French and Spanish and love travelling, particularly to south-east Asia, where I have spent many a happy hour meeting people and experiencing different cultures, traditions and food. I am fairly active and enjoy cycling, skiing and walking and have most recently taken up kite surfing.Availability (UK time)

Mr. Parkes has been brilliant with helping with my exams - really patient and helpful, he would always explain something all the way through and took the time to mark many past papers for me in the lead up to my exam. I couldn't recommend him enough!
