Experience
I have a strong passion for social science subjects, particularly Sociology and Psychology, as I find exploring human behaviour, society, and social structures both fascinating and deeply rewarding. I greatly enjoy helping A Level and GCSE pupils prepare for their exams and develop skills that will serve them in the future. As an experienced teacher, I use a variety of teaching techniques tailored to students’ individual learning styles, ensuring lessons are engaging and effective. I particularly enjoy making connections between theory and current affairs, helping students see the relevance of their studies in the real world. Supporting learners to achieve their potential and fostering a genuine interest in social sciences is central to my teaching approach.More
Alongside tutoring, I am a keen swimmer and regularly compete at masters swimming competitions- often travelling internationally and all over the UK. I enjoy spectating all sports- but football and rugby union in particular. I love foreign travel- especially Spain. You may be lucky enough to meet my pet cat Driscoll (named after an Irish rugby player) during a lesson as he loves to jump on my laptop!Availability (UK time)
